Head of State Volodymyr Zelensky said that right now in the Donbass, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are destroying an unprecedented amount of Russian forces and equipment that the Russian army will never be able to restore.

According to the president, on February 14, he talked with the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and commanders and held a number of important meetings. From them, the Ukrainian leader learned that the situation on the front line, especially in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions, remains very difficult. Zelensky draws attention to the fact that there are continuous battles for every meter of our land.

We must understand the meaning of these fights. Each meter won there is the protection of our entire state. Every day that our heroes endured in Bakhmut, Vugledar, Maryinka and other cities and towns of Donbass is a decrease in Russian aggression during the week. An unprecedented destruction of Russian potential is currently taking place. Everything that the enemy loses in our Donbass, he will no longer be able to recover. And this is precisely the potential of Russian aggression, from which the leadership of the terrorist state expected the destruction of our entire Ukraine, the Ukrainian leader stressed.

The head of state also recalled that his team is doing everything possible to ensure that the Armed Forces of Ukraine receive even more weapons, more long-range weapons and more forces for the offensive that our defenders are preparing. It is important to understand that the 9th meeting of the Contact Group on Defense Issues of Ukraine (Ramstein format), which was held on February 14 in Brussels, was also devoted to this.
