On the eve of the meeting of the contact group on defense issues in the Ramstein format, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhny had a telephone conversation with the Supreme Allied Commander in Europe and the Commander-in-Chief of the US Forces in Europe, General Christopher Cavoli.
As the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine wrote, it was about providing international military assistance to Ukraine and training units on the territory of partner countries.
“I shared my assessments of the operational situation on the front of the Russian-Ukrainian war and plans for further actions. I am grateful to General Cavoli for his deep understanding of the situation and significant efforts to bring our Victory closer, the vision of which I shared with my interlocutor today.
