The Ukrainian military will begin training in the use of Patriot air defense systems at the end of January.
This was announced by Pentagon spokeswoman Laura Cooper at a briefing.
According to her, the preparation will begin at the end of January, but it is difficult to say when it will be completed.
Cooper only noted that the training will last several months.
“Patriot is not a system of immediate application. But we will start this preparation very soon,” she said.
The Pentagon spokeswoman also thanked Germany for its decision to provide Ukraine with an additional Patriot battery.
